In Think No Evil I performed blindfolded, gagged, and with my ears covered. Carrying a hundred-pound cage on my back, I cut open teddy bears and from them removed animal guts, which I dropped into a fish tank. I then placed the dismembered toy into a plastic bag and hung it on a hook. I concluded by painting an animal’s blood-red afterimage on the wall.

Think No Evil was a direct response to my having worked at a primate research laboratory.
