FRONTIERS

Pussycat Caverns, New Orleans, LA

Frontiers addressed forces that are beyond our control. The performance takes place at the site of a plane crash in a remote area, the only two survivors of the crash respond to their new circumstances in opposite ways. Thus began an endless cycle of expectation and desperation. From its pensive and hypnotic beginning, the show catapulted into a frenzy of dialogue and action.

The set included a 20-foot x 10-foot x 7-foot manually operated banner-waving machine, a fourteen-foot pendulum, and a treadle-operated signaling device. Frontiers was performed by Malcolm McClay and Jeff Becker with an original soundtrack by Tom Richards.
